May 7th, National Child and Youth Mental Health Day, since 2007
FamilySmart® cares about the mental health of children and youth and knows that besides having others who care about them, they also need to have some ways to take care of themselves. It builds resilience. For adults in the lives of young people, taking care of you also matters.
This May 7th, in your home, school, workplace and/or community, start a conversation about the importance of taking care of ourselves – what does “taking care of me” Look Like, Sound Like and Feel Like.
May 7th is about having caring conversations and making connections between children, youth and caring adults in their lives. View our Be That Caring Adult video.
In order to recover a fraction of the costs of materials and shipping for Child & Youth Mental Health Day, we are charging only a small fee.
